CUMT's Administration Conducts Presidential Election, Urges Students to Behave Responsibly

The administration of the Canadian University of Modern Technology, has conducted a highly contested student union presidential election.

The election was contested by four presidential candidates: Musa Aiahson Koroma, Mustapha Bayoh, Mohamed Deen Bangura and Mohamed Wurie Barrie.

The total valid votes cast in the election was 426 votes. Each candidate receives the votes as follows:

Musa Aiahson Koroma 93 votes, representing 21.83%.

Mustapha Bayoh 147 votes, representing 34.59%.

Mohamed Deen Bangura 180 votes, representing 42.25%.

Mohamed Wurie Barrie 6 votes, representing 1.40%.

Total valid votes: 426.

Invalid votes =0

426 votes were cast in total.

Accordingly, Mohamed Deen Bangura, who got 180 votes, representing 42.25% of the valid votes cast, was declared the winner.

Addressing the gathering, Winner Bangura said that he feels excited about being declared winner of the Canadian University of Modern Technology Students' Union Government. He also stated that he would adhere to his manifesto by the end of his tenure in office.

Bangura expressed thanks and appreciation to his colleague students for heartily voting for him.

The university's administration applauded the students for maintaining peace and tranquility before, during, and after the election process.
