Ahead of Tomorrow's Presidential Pool, the two Leading Presidential Aspirants Embark on a Class-to-Class Campaign.

 

The two leading presidential aspirants for the upcoming student union presidential election at the Canadian University of Modern Technology have today engaged students with their campaign messages from one class to the other.

In his statement, Musa Aiahson Koroma, leader and chairman of team Proven Leadership, who doubles as the team's presidential candidate, pointed out that he was into student politics not to make money or to brag about his longstanding academic achievement, but to liberate the student populace who have been longing for liberation.

"I am not into student politics to make money or popularity, but rather to make the lives of fellow students better," Koroma said.

Koroma, among other things, promised cost recovery malaria treatment for students and a good health system within the university's campus.

Several students from the computer science, mass communication, Business Administration (BAM ) and Business Information Technology (BIT) Departments, among other departments, admired the disposition of Musa Aiahson Koroma. They cited that the disposition of the presidential hopeful speaks volumes, adding that they were set to give him the required support he needs to win the presidential election come April 5, 2022.

On his path, Mustapha Bayoh, of the "Team Re-builders" in his campaign movement, said that he was speaking from the depths of his heart and with every sense of sincerity, and that if students of the Canadian University of Modern Technology trusted him and provided him with the opportunity to serve them as president, he would do everything humanly possible to better the welfare of students in and out of the CUMT Campus.

Among other things, Bayoh said that, if voted as president, he will negotiate with landlords for the reduction of house rents and also with a popular cookery seller (Kadie Black) for the reduction of the price of a plate of rice for students.

Students were moved by his gesticulations when speaking to the issues of his campaign message.

Bayoh and his team issued the students some exercise books and pens as a way of capturing their attention.

According to a release from the Registrar's office, the student union presidential election will commence tomorrow, April 5, 2022. Four aspirants are expected to go into the pool.
